What are flax seeds?

They relieve inflammation of the skin:

Infuse 40 g of crushed or ground flax seeds in boiling water for 10 to 15 minutes, then apply a warm, moist poultice to the area to be treated. They help to lose weight: flax seeds have antioxidant and satiating properties. The omega-3 they contain are “good fats” that kill the bad, useful as part of a slimming diet.

How to consume them?

Flax seeds are so well ground, crushed, ground or infused. What matters is that they are not eaten whole, because our stomach is not able to dissolve the seed coat. It would be a shame not to enjoy all these virtues! You can grind them with a spice mill or with a pestle.
